Twos Program in Brooklyn

The 2’s Program at Brooklyn Preschool of Science

At Brooklyn Preschool of Science, our 2’s Program is where curiosity takes its first big steps. This is a place where pint-sized scientists begin to explore their world through discovery, play, and imagination. As one of the best daycares for active children, we offer a nurturing, engaging, and science-rich environment that supports every child’s growth and development.

A Foundation for Lifelong Learning

Our daycare with STEM programs introduces children to early science, technology, engineering, and math concepts in fun, age-appropriate ways. Even at two years old, toddlers love to observe, question, and explore—it’s how they make sense of the world around them. Through hands-on experiments, sensory play, and guided discovery, children start learning how things work and build the foundation for critical thinking.

Our teachers weave language arts, math, and science-based learning activities into daily routines. Whether it’s counting objects, identifying colors, or exploring textures, every experience is designed to enhance cognitive development.

Parents who wonder what a child should learn in preschool will find that our approach answers that question beautifully—by blending academic readiness with social and emotional growth.

Encouraging Independence and Self-Mastery

At age two, children begin to assert their independence. Our teachers encourage self-help skills such as self-dressing, hand washing, and early potty training in a positive, encouraging way.

Every milestone is celebrated—from putting on shoes to cleaning up after playtime—helping children feel capable and proud of their achievements.

We understand that each child grows at their own pace. Our individualized approach ensures that every toddler receives personalized attention, nurturing both confidence and curiosity.

This balance of structure and freedom makes Brooklyn Preschool of Science one of the best daycares for working parents who want a safe, supportive environment for their children.

Socialization Through Play

Social and emotional development is a major part of what we teach in the 2’s Program. Through cooperative games, storytelling, and group play, children learn to share, communicate, and express their feelings respectfully.

Our classrooms are warm, welcoming communities where friendships begin and empathy grows.

Expert Teachers, Science-Based Curriculum

Our teachers are experienced early childhood educators who bring expertise, warmth, and creativity to every interaction.

Guided by a science-based learning curriculum, they transform ordinary moments into opportunities for exploration and understanding.

For example, a water table activity might turn into a lesson on buoyancy, or a walk outside might become a discussion about nature and weather.

At Brooklyn Preschool of Science, we take pride in being a daycare with science-based learning activities that foster real-world curiosity.

Families across Prospect Heights and nearby Brooklyn neighborhoods trust us because we combine play, discovery, and education in a safe, nurturing environment.
